About

  • Master’s in Music – Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre (NYU)
  • Advanced Certificate – Vocal Pedagogy (NYU)
  • Bachelor of Arts – Theatre & Psychology (Double Major)
  • Total voice nerd – lover of all further knowledge on developing unique voices!

I went to graduate school to study voice, because I had spent many years being told I had a lovely voice with lots of “potential”, but never had anyone explain to me how to access that potential. I realized I could either become resigned to feeling as though that meant I would always be locked out of a certain level of singing, or I could go in search of the key. Knowledge, information, and incredible mentors turned out to be the key. Now, I can’t imagine anything more fulfilling than passing out as many copies of this key as I can, to as many artists as possible.

After leaving NYC in 2020 my life has blissfully slowed from the city pace, living in my home with my three dogs (two chihuahua’s and a pit bull) and my fiance, and 3-4 times a year I am back in NYC to visit my community, maybe sing a gig, and have in person sessions with my students there. It’s a pretty great deal, if you ask me! Back in Michigan I am a local actress and singer – if you’d like to know more about me as a performer, visit my site below:
